Revenue per truck.

Revenue divided by the number of service vehicles running, usually measured per day.

What is revenue per truck?

Revenue per truck per day is total revenue divided by trucks in service divided by working days. It is the cleanest read on whether dispatch is filling capacity.

Why it matters

Adding trucks is the most expensive way to grow. If revenue per truck is soft, the constraint is scheduling, average ticket, or unbooked calls, and buying another vehicle just multiplies the problem. Paired with revenue per employee, it tells you whether headcount is adding profit or overhead.
