Glossary

Callback rate.

The share of jobs that require a return visit for the same issue within a set window, usually 30 days.

What is callback rate?

Callback rate counts return visits for the same problem inside a defined window, typically 30 days. It is distinct from first-time fix rate: a callback means the work was completed and then failed to hold.

Why it matters

Callbacks are margin you already earned and then gave back, plus a customer whose confidence you now have to rebuild. Every point of callback rate is worth measuring by technician, since it is usually concentrated rather than spread evenly.

How Lakehouse handles it

Job history and photos stay on the property record, so a return visit starts with what was actually done. See photo sharing.
